Duct Support
- Where required by code, straps should be used to support ductwork in the roof.
- Straps do not constrict duct airflow.
- Strap material should be 1.5” wide or greater.
- Horizontal and vertical support should occur at intervals no greater than 6’.
- Flex ducts may also rest on ceiling joists or truss supports.
