Where possible, a doorstop should be used to prevent unnecessary damage
- Front/ Back doors receive a doorstop regardless of what angle it meets the wall.
Doorstop should meet door at a right angle, but position along the wall may vary if needed
Ensure spring operates correctly
Doorstops should only be installed in walls (not cabinets, tubs, or showers)
No doorstops used if the wall is not parallel to the door when open to 90 degrees
- No doorstop used on the wall if the door hinge is more than 1’ from the corner
