• Where possible, a doorstop should be used to prevent unnecessary damage
  • Front/ Back doors receive a doorstop regardless of what angle it meets the wall.
  • Doorstop should meet door at a right angle, but position along the wall may vary if needed
  • Ensure spring operates correctly
  • Doorstops should only be installed in walls (not cabinets, tubs, or showers)
  • No doorstops used if the wall is not parallel to the door when open to 90 degrees
  • No doorstop used on the wall if the door hinge is more than 1’ from the corner
