- Wall sheathing is continuous with no holes.
- All sheathing should be 1/8" spacing between sheets for expansion
- Nails or staples should not be driven past the surface of the sheathing.
- All seams, nail holes, and broken moisture barrier that have broke the surface of the sheathing must be covered with sheathing tape or exterior rated caulk.
- Nails should be spaced 6" on the edges and 12" in the middle.
- Staples should be spaced 3" on the edges and 6" in the middle.
- Refer to window flashing section for proper window taping.
- No wall shall bow in excess of 1/4” within a 32” horizontal measurement.
