• In accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and code, ensure the fireplace conforms to the following combustible clearances
  • Any combustible more than 2” from the stack vent
  • Stack vent is properly strapped to studs with hanger ties
  • Ceiling firestop is sealed with fire caulk and mastic seal
