- Expansion joints carry through the entire depth of the masonry wall
- Mortar does not bridge expansion joints
- Install expansion joints at ceiling height changes

- Expansion joints are 25' apart MAXIMUM
- Expansion Joints should be 10' FROM THE CORNER
- Expansion Joints should be 2' from the corner (for brick coating transition)
