• The air gap is 1” in all regions
  • Where required by code, the mortar mesh net is used in the air gap between masonry and frame
  • Ensure that through wall flashing or "brick flashing" is used. The top of the flashing should be taped with zip tape or equivalent before Mesh net is installed.
  • Where required by code, 12” rigid foam insulation is used in the air gap on the concrete slab (see detail D-1.1 in plan set)
  • Where required by code, flashing is used above rigid foam insulation and exits wall above grade
  • Through wall flashing is required to overlap at outside corners. All seams must be taped.
